Price Volume Shocker: Tata Steel BSL jumps by 6 per cent even as BSE Sensex hits all time high
The company declared a positive set of numbers on Wednesday where the net profits where declared at Rs 2,478.86 crore versus net loss of Rs 649.96 crore in the same quarter previous year.
The shares of Tata Steel were seen buzzing on bourses even as the frontline indices were seen making all time highs on Wednesday trading session. The share price of Tata Steel BSL jumped by over 6 per cent on an intraday basis as the volume spiked by atleast 2.61 times on BSE exchance for the counter.
The company declared a positive set of numbers on Wednesday where the net profits where declared at Rs 2,478.86 crore versus net loss of Rs 649.96 crore in the same quarter previous year. The net profits declared in the previous quarter was Rs 1913.73 crore.
The total income was declared at Rs 7884 crore versus Rs 2719 crore in the same quarter previous year. The share price of Tata Steel BSL has increased by 352 per cent in one year while in one month the share price has increased by ~10 per cent.
BSE Sensex is up by more than 600 points on an intraday basis after building on the gains of Tuesday trading session.
