Top 3 price-volume breakout stocks

Indian equity indices closed in red on Friday, as the IT and Auto stocks dragged markets down over clarity on U.S. tariffs next week; President Trump indicated not all tariffs to be imposed on April 2, 2025.

The Sensex closed 150 points or 0.19 per cent lower at 77,456, while the Nifty 50 closed 72 points or 0.31 per cent lower at 23,519, the index is trading above 200-DEMA. The Nifty Bank closed flat with 11 points lower and settled at 51,564 with an indecision candle on Friday. On a weekly basis, Nifty 50 Closed 1.92 per cent higher.

On the NSE, benchmark index Nifty 50 recorded a 17.11 crore volume, whereas the last 20-day average volume stands at 17.73 crore.

Broader indices closed marginally lower, where Nifty Mid-Cap slumped by 0.32 per cent, while Nifty Small-Cap ended higher by 0.15 per cent. India VIX slipped below the 13 mark and was down by 4.3 per cent during the day.

Top 3 price-volume breakout stocks:

Aster DM Healthcare Ltd traded with a price volume breakout, reaching a high of Rs 504 before closing at Rs 476. The stock saw a traded volume of 2.64 crore shares. It is currently trading at Rs 476, reflecting a 5.00 per cent rise from the previous close of Rs 453.35. The stock has gained 53.01 per cent from its 52-week low. The 52-week high stands at Rs 558. The move was accompanied by a volume spike, indicating increased market activity.

BSE Ltd witnessed a strong price volume breakout, reaching a high of Rs 5534.4 and closing at Rs 5438. The stock traded 1.88 crore shares, showing increased participation. Currently trading at Rs 5438, it has risen 16.09 per cent from the previous close of Rs 4684.35. With a 52-week high of Rs 6133.4 and returns of 157.12 per cent from its 52-week low, the stock has delivered multibagger returns. The move came with a significant volume spike.

Jindal Worldwide Ltd saw a price volume breakout, touching a high of Rs 72.4 before closing at Rs 71. The stock traded 91.09 lakh shares. It is currently trading at Rs 71, up 7.09 per cent from the previous close of Rs 66.3. The stock has returned 31.14 per cent from its 52-week low, with a 52-week high of Rs 94.24. The price movement was supported by a volume spike, indicating increased market participation.
