Power Mech Projects bags orders worth Rs 734 crore; stock soars
Power Mech Projects Limited has bagged three work orders worth Rs 734 crore in the states of Odisha & Uttar Pradesh.
The first project includes the operation & maintenance (O&M) of boilers & auxiliaries, TG & auxiliaries, BOP, DM plant, electrical, C&I, AHP, filed operations and other miscellaneous jobs of 4x660 MW, Thermal Power Plant of Vedanta Ltd, Jharsuguda (Odisha). This order is worth Rs 401 crore.
The second one includes design & engineering, supply, installation, commissioning, and PGT of 9 MTPA Ore handling package at the primary area, dispatch area-1, and dispatch area-2 on EPC Basis at Kurmitar Iron Ore Mining Pvt Ltd (KIOMPL), Odisha. This order amounts to Rs 198 crore.
The third work order, worth Rs 135 crore, includes all civil, architectural & structural works of the main plant for 2X660 MW Khurja STPP (turbine generator & associated packages) for BHEL at Khurja (Uttar Pradesh).
Last month, the company had received orders for four projects worth Rs 1,068.36 crore in the states of Uttar Pradesh & Odisha. Its order book as of February 16, 2021, stood at Rs 7,353 crore, giving revenue visibility for the next three years.
On Wednesday, at 11:27 p.m., the stock of Power Mech Projects was trading 6.4 per cent higher at Rs 574.30 from its previous close of Rs 540 on BSE.
