As long as Nifty holds the low of Friday, i.e. 10,520, the bias would be positive and buying on dips would be an ideal strategy for the traders. On the upside, targets likely for the day would be 10,600, followed by 10,640. In case the Friday’s low of 10,520,is breached, Nifty is likely to extended its correction up to the level of 10,480.  

GM Breweries spikes up 12 per cent on good Q3 results

After posting good Q3 results, the stock of GM Breweries was up around 12 per cent in the morning session at Rs. 1,098.00 per share, up Rs. 120.80 or 12.36 per cent on Friday. The stock has shown significant price as well as volume gains, volume rose by around 1,200 per cent compared to its 5-day moving average.

Bitcoin no longer top crypto currency

Even as government reiterates its stand that Bitcoin will not be accepted as legal tender, the price of Bitcoin zoomed on international exchanges on Wednesday. The prices went up on reports of huge institutional buying. The surge in Bitcoin prices which helped it retrace US$15,000 again followed media reports of an investment by the ace global investor, Peter Thiel.

With the government taking a considerate stance while amending the IBC law, there seems to be enough leeway for prudent promoters to be able to bid for their company's assets. The amends allow a defaulter or existing promoter to become eligible for the resolution plan by making their bad loans operational.
