Index trend and stocks in action July 22, 2019

DSIJ Intelligence-3 0 3627 Article rating: 5.0

We believe the next major support area for the Nifty is in the zone of 11,300-11,320. On the upside, any pullback rally towards 11,550-11,570 is likely to be resisted and this area is the likely hurdle going forward. Stocks in news: BHEL, CIPLA, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, CG Power and Industrial Solutions, Strides Pharma Science, IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals, Reliance Industries, McNally Bharat Engineering.

Getting Your Asset Allocation Right

Sagar Bhosale 0 1750 Article rating: No rating

The most important determinant of an investor's long term investment results is composition of assets or asset mix in the investor's portfolio. Statistically speaking, as the investment horizon gets longer, asset allocation emerges as the dominant factor driving investment results. Thus, in any financial planning process, arriving at an appropriate asset allocation is the most important decision variable.

I enjoyed reading the articles in your magazine, specifically the MF Query Board, which helped me make a right investment decision. In your next issue, can you cover the impact of the latest budget on mutual funds?

Market Back To Chasing Earnings Growth

Shruti Jadhav 0 1894 Article rating: No rating

As the government drew the roadmap for making India a US$ 5 trillion economy by 2024, the budget earmarked an investment of Rs. 100 lakh crore for infrastructure. The budget provided relief to the realty sector by increasing the cap of interest deductions on loans for affordable housing, while also helping the cashstrapped NBFCs with liquidity

Lack Of Trigger To Test Investors Patience

Shruti Jadhav 0 678 Article rating: No rating

After falling by more than 1,000 points post-budget, Sensex is showing signs of recovery. Recovery is visible right now, whether it will be sustained depends a lot on the earnings season. What is bothering the market is not that there were no great positive triggers for the markets in the budget, but the fact that not much was done on the liquidity front. Bank recapitalisation announced in the budget, while considered a must to boost liquidity in the system, is not seen as a good enough solution for the liquidity issues.

Index trend and stocks in action July 17, 2019

DSIJ Intelligence-3 0 2360 Article rating: 5.0

The index needs to move above the Tuesday session high of 11,670 to maintain the bullish momentum and it may extend its current upmove towards the levels of 11,725-11,735. On the downside, the level of 11,635 would act as an immediate support level for the index. Stocks in news: Tata Power, BHEL, KNR Construction, Sadbhav Infrastructure Project, TCS, NTPC, Vikas WSP.
