Weak start of Asian markets to impact Indian counterparts Today

Karan Dsij 0 1152 Article rating: 5.0

Asian peers are trading weak in early deals on Friday and this weakness is sure to spill on to the Indian shores as well. The SGX Nifty, which is currently trading almost 10 points below its yesterday close is already reflecting it. Hence, we could witness a modest dip at the opening bell. However, we believe traders and investors would grab this opportunity with both hands to initiate fresh long positions.

Karan Dsij 0 794 Article rating: 5.0

The day is likely to start at a flat to negative note for the domestic markets. At the beginning of the day, there could be jitters among market participants on waning prospects of a deal between the world’s two largest economies, that is, the US and China, after the US President Donald Trump signed legislation that expresses the US support for Hong Kong protesters.

Karan Dsij 0 630 Article rating: 5.0

Technically, the Nifty is currently placed at a crucial juncture or a hurdle of 12,103-12,133 levels and a sustainable move above this zone could lead the index towards our short term target of 12,240-12,300. Markets to open on a flat note

Karan Dsij 0 1616 Article rating: 5.0

After several weeks of anticipation, the Nifty finally registered a fresh all-time high of 12,132 levels on Tuesday. However, it failed to hold these levels due to the wobbly political situation in Maharashtra that resulted in volatility on D-Street. This volatility not only erased the index's early leads but also made it enter into negative terrain, ending the day with losses.

Index trend and stocks in action November 27, 2019

Karan Dsij 0 1636 Article rating: 5.0

All-in-all, holding above the 12,000 mark would be important for the bulls to continue the momentum. If the Nifty fails to hold above the 12,000 mark, there are chances that it may get back into the consolidation phase in the near term with higher volatility. Stocks in news: CONCOR, L&T Finance Holdings, Seamec, Max India, HCL Technologies.

Overall, the bulls have a firm pitch to bat on as the cues from the global markets are also supportive.

Markets may begin the week on a positive note

Karan Dsij 0 1220 Article rating: 5.0

The last week turned out to be a lackluster one. Although the Indian stock markets closed with marginal gains, the Nifty 50 index could not sustain above 12,000 levels. For the last three weeks, the index is forming indecisive candles and this candle formation, near the lifetime high levels, is creating confusion among traders. The early indication from the SGX Nifty suggests that the Indian markets are likely to kick-off the new week on a positive note as cues from Asian peers are optimistic.

Index trend and stocks in action November 22, 2019

Karan Dsij 0 734 Article rating: 5.0

On Thursday, though volatility was on a lower side compared to the past, the Nifty made a bearish engulfing candle-like pattern. Before that, almost all the bars in the week were bearish or indecisive. The index filled Wednesday’s gap and closed near the lower support. Since it is unable to sustain above the resistance area or close above 12,000, it is the time to be cautious about the uptrend. A Flat trading day in making

Karan Dsij 0 1203 Article rating: 5.0

It seems the bulls need a strong impetus to cross the Laxmanrekha of 12,000-12,040 levels on the Nifty. Until then the markets would continue to trade in a range of 11,800-12,040 like it has been doing for almost the last three weeks.
