BHEL commissions renovated 60 MV Hydro plant in Himachal Pradesh

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) announced that it has successfully renovated and modernized one unit of the 3x60 MW Baira Siul Hydro Power in Himachal Pradesh. The Baira Siul is the first hydro station of National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) to have been taken up for comprehensive renovation and modernization (R&M).

Reliance Infra wins Arbitration award of 350 crore

Reliance Infrastructure (RELINFRA) announced that it had won an arbitration award of 350 crore, including interest against the government of Goa. The dispute had been taken to arbitration when the Goa state utility delayed payments to Reliance Infrastructure for the power supplied to it from its 48 MW-Goa power plant in Sancoale.
