Permanent Portfolio
I went through your special report titled ‘Permanent Portfolio: A Wealth-Creating Tool’ and found it quite insightful. I have been saving for retirement only in PPF and post office savings’ schemes which offer safety but do not necessarily deliver inflation-beating returns. With 20 years left for retirement, should I create a permanent portfolio?

Editor Responds : Nowadays it has become essential for every individual to adequately plan for his or her retirement due to rising inflation. Your retirement portfolio should earn inflationbeating returns which are not possible by just investing in PPF and post office savings’ schemes. In order to earn a decent amount of returns along with safety, a permanent portfolio is an ideal portfolio option for creating a retirement fund as you still have 20 years left for your retirement.
