Penny Stocks: Stocks likely to be in focus tomorrow!

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Monday, May 06, 2024.

On Friday, the benchmark indices ended the week on a downward trend. The Sensex dropped by 0.98 per cent to close at 73,878.15, while the Nifty fell by 0.76 per cent to close at 22,475.85.

In the broader market, both the Nifty Mid-Cap and Nifty Small-Cap indices experienced moderate declines, with Nifty Midcap down by 0.35 per cent and Nifty Small-cap by 0.49 per cent.

Furthermore, market volatility is measured by India VIX, increased by 9.72 per cent, indicating higher market uncertainty.

Among sectors, only Nifty Pharma closed in positive territory, while Nifty Realty, Nifty IT, Nifty Auto, and Nifty PSU Bank were the major losers.

The market breadth was negative, with 1,421 stocks advancing and 2,411 stocks declining, signaling a prevailing negative sentiment in the broader market.

RattanIndia Power - Heavy buying was witnessed in the counter as the scrip zoomed and got locked at 5 per cent upper circuit, recording an intraday high of Rs 9.60 per share on NSE. RattanIndia Power Limited is one of India’s largest private power generation company, with installed capacity of 2,700 MW thermal power plants at Amravati and Nashik (1,350 MW at each location) in Maharashtra, India.

Jyoti Structures - The scrip experienced significant buying activity, resulting in the stock surging and getting locked at 5 per cent upper circuit, reaching an intraday high of Rs 29.25 per share on NSE. Jyoti Structures Limited was incorporated in 1974. The company is engaged in electricity, transmission, distribution and substation. The registered office of the Company is in Mumbai.

Transwarranty Finance - A solid price volume breakout was seen at the counter today as the stock rallied and got locked at 20 per cent upper circuit to record an intraday high of Rs 13.85 per share on NSE. Incorporated in 1994, Transwarranty Finance Ltd is an NBFC engaged in lending and advisory services
