Penny Stocks: Stocks likely to be in focus tomorrow!

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

On Monday, the trading session concluded with benchmark indices marking a downturn. The Sensex closed lower by 0.83 per cent, settling at 73,502.64, while the Nifty saw a decline of 0.72 per cent, closing at 22,332.65.

The broader market mirrored this trend, with Nifty Mid-Cap dropping by 0.39 per cent and Nifty Small-Cap plunging by 1.99 per cent.

Market volatility, gauged by India VIX, saw a 2.46 per cent surge, indicating increased market fluctuations.

Nifty Pharma emerged as the sole positive sector, while Nifty Media, Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty Metal, and Nifty Energy witnessed significant declines.

With 393 stocks advancing against 1,888 declining ones, a negative sentiment prevailed in the broader market.

Alok Industries - Heavy buying was witnessed in the counter as the scrip zoomed and got locked at 5 per cent upper circuit, recording an intraday high of Rs 32.00 per share on NSE. Alok Industries is a textile company with a presence in the cotton and polyester segments. The Company is engaged in manufacturing of textile, including mending and packing activities; leather and other apparel products

Celebrity Fashions - The scrip experienced significant buying activity, resulting in the stock surging and getting locked at 5 per cent upper circuit, reaching an intraday high of Rs 17.50 per share on NSE. Established in 1988, Celebrity Fashions Ltd manufactures and exports all types of textile garments and clothing accessories to many multinational brands.

Cyber Media - A solid price volume breakout was seen at the counter today as the stock rallied and got locked at 5 per cent upper circuit to record an intraday high of Rs 22.50 per share on NSE. Incorporated in 1982, Cyber Media (India) Ltd is in print media and publishing, digital marketing, contents, analytics, management consultancy, etc.
