Nifty50 closed 0.51 per cent down to close at 19,365.25, while both small-cap index and mid-cap index performed positively

On Thursday, Indian equity markets ended on a negative note. Nifty50 closed 0.51 per cent down to close at 19,365.25, while both Small-Cap index and Mid-Cap index performed positively.

Adani Ports, Titan, and Adani Enterprises secured positions as Top Gainers within the Nifty 50. Conversely, LTIMindtree, ITC, and Power Grid encountered declines, marking them among the Top Losers.

The following Penny Stocks are likely to be in focus on Friday, August 18, 2023:

Digispice Technologies- Heavy buying was witnessed in the counter as the scrip zoomed and got locked at 5 per cent upper circuit, recording an intraday high of Rs 37.25 per share on BSE. Digispice Technologies Limited (DTL) is primarily engaged in the information and communication technology business providing Value Added Services (VAS), and mobile content services to the domestic and international telecom operators and the development and sale of telecom-related software.

Sanginita Chemicals- The scrip experienced significant buying activity, resulting in the stock surging more than 9 per cent, reaching an intraday high of Rs 21.50 per share on NSE. Sanginita Chemicals Ltd is a manufacturer and exporter of cuprous chloride, cupric chloride and a supplier of synthetic resins. 

Raj Television Network- A solid price volume breakout was seen at the counter today as the stock rallied and got locked at 5 per cent upper circuit to record an intraday high of Rs 47.85 per share on NSE. Raj Television Network Limited is one of the largest television broadcasters in India operating satellite television channels across five languages of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
