Overnight Digest: Stocks to watch out for on October 22nd, 2018

The stocks most likely to witness significant movement on the bourses on October 22 , 2018 are Mphasis Ltd., UltraTech Cement Ltd., ICICI Securities Ltd., Reliance Power Ltd., and Thyrocare Technologies Ltd. 

Mphasis Ltd.: The company reported a 37 per cent surge in net profit to Rs. 271 crore in Q2FY19 from Rs. 197.6 crore in Q2FY18. The stock will be watched on Monday. 

UltraTech Cement Ltd.: The company’s net profit dropped to Rs. 375.74 crore in Q2FY19 from Rs. 631.21 crore in Q2FY18, posting a fall of 40.47 per cent. The stock will be monitored on Monday. 

ICICI Securities Ltd.: The company reported that the board has approved the payment of interim dividend of Rs. 3.70 per equity share of face value Rs. 5 each. Additionally, the company’s profit went up to Rs. 13.260 crore in Q2FY19 from Rs. 13.063 crore in Q1FY19, posting a growth of 1.50 per cent. The stock will be monitored on Monday. 

Reliance Power Ltd.: The company’s wholly-owned subsidiary Sasan Power Ltd. won an arbitration award against North American Coal Corporation (NACC). NACC’s claim of US$ 32 million has been dismissed. Sasan Power has to pay only outstanding invoices of US$ 2.3 million to NACC. The stock is likely to be in the limelight in Monday’s trading session. 

Thyrocare Technologies Ltd.: The company has bought back an aggregate of 9,58,900 equity shares through open market. It utilised an amount of around Rs. 62,99,99,729 for the same. The stock is likely to witness movement on Monday.
