Overnight digest: Stocks to watch out for on August 17

In Monday's trading session, the domestic benchmark indices ended on a flat note with Sensex gaining 0.26 per cent whereas Nifty rising 0.21 per cent. The metal sector was in the limelight while the telecom sector faced selling pressure.

Palred Technologies - The company has announced strong Q1FY22 results. The consolidated revenue expanded by 84 per cent on a YoY basis whereas EBIT registered a YoY growth of 28.2 per cent. The company reported that the overall sales jumped up by 132 per cent in Q1FY22 as compared to Q1FY21. This stock is likely to be in focus for Tuesday's trading session. 

52-week high stocks: Bharti Airtel, HCL Technologies, Larsen & Toubro, Tata Steel, TCS, and Tech Mahindra hit their 52-week high price. Keep a watch on these stocks during Tuesday’s trading session. 

Volume toppers: The volume gainers of today's trading session are likely to be on investors’ radar in Tuesday's trading session. The list includes names such as Reliance Industries, Indian Oil Corporation, Bajaj Finance & Apollo Hospitals. 

Devyani International - Devyani International made a strong market debut. IPO listed a 57 per cent premium over its issue price. Investors are likely to keep a close watch on this stock.
