Overnight Digest: Stocks to watch on January 11, 2019

The stocks most likely to witness significant movement on the bourses on January 11, 2019 are Himachal Futuristic Communications, Indian Hume Pipe Company, Tera Software, TCS and Tata Motors.

Himachal Futuristic Communications: The company won orders worth Rs. 502.73 crore for the supply of Optical Fibre Cables (OFC) from L&T and a consortium led by ITI. The stock is likely to witness movement in Friday’s trading session.

Indian Hume Pipe Company: The company received Letter of Acceptance for the work of Rs. 198.77 crore from Andhra Pradesh Drinking Water Supply Corporation for the work of construction of drinking water supply projects. The stock is likely to be in action on Friday.

Tera Software: The company bagged a work order worth Rs. 324.89 crore from Andhra Pradesh State FiberNet Limited. The stock is likely to be in focus on Friday.

TCS: The company reported its results for the quarter ended December 31, 2018 in which it reported a rise of 24.07 per cent YoY in net profit to Rs. 8,121 crore. Moreover, the directors have declared an interim dividend of Rs. 4 per equity share. The stock is likely to be in limelight in Friday’s trading session.

Tata Motors: The Jaguar Land Rover sales dropped 4.6 per cent YoY while the Land Rover sales plummeted 6.9 per cent YoY. However, the Jaguar sales rose 1.2 per cent YoY. The stock will be monitored on Friday.
