Overnight Digest: Stocks to keep an eye on May 05!

Watch out for these large-cap stocks in Friday’s trading session!

The robust quarter results and significant gains from the financial services and banking sectors helped Indian benchmark indices end the session much higher. The BSE Sensex soared 0.91 per cent to 61,749 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index climbed 0.92 per cent to a level of 18,255.   

Watch out for these Large-Cap stocks in Friday’s trading session -  

Bajaj Finance - The robust upsurge in Bajaj Finance contributed significantly to the BSE Sensex's closing rally. Shares of the company ended the session 3.43 per cent higher, making them the top Sensex gainer. The company reported that its Debenture Allotment Committee had allotted 10,950 secured, redeemable, non-convertible debentures (NCD) aggregating to Rs 1,100.92 crore.  

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) - The company posted a solid quarterly result, with a 20 per cent year-on-year growth in net profit. The board also declared an interim dividend of Rs 44 per equity share of face value of Rs 2 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2023. Being one of the top Sensex gainers, shares finished the session 2.64 per cent higher.  

Adani Enterprises - The company declared its quarter results and reported an outstanding growth of 137 per cent in its net profit. Shares of the company soared 3.85 per cent, leading the gains in the BSE Largecap pack. Shares are still down, more than 50 per cent year-to-date.
