Overnight Digest: Stocks to keep an eye on April 27!

Watch out for these large-cap stocks in Thursday’s trading session!

The Indian headline indices managed to end the session higher. With gains of more than 1 per cent, BSE Realty and BSE Capital Goods emerged as the top performing sectors, while power and utilities stocks helped the surge. The BSE Sensex gained 0.28 per cent to 60,300 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index rose 0.25 per cent to a level of 17,813.   

Watch out for these Large-Cap stocks in Thursday’s trading session -  

Maruti Suzuki - Despite a shortage of electronic components, the company reported that its 40th anniversary year had its highest-ever annual sales volume. The creation of an additional capacity for up to one million vehicles annually was also approved by the board. For the financial year 2022-23, the board of directors recommended a final dividend of Rs 90 per share.  

Dalmia Bharat - The company announced that Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited (DCBL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, has signed definitive agreements with Jaiprakash Associates Limited for the acquisition of a number of cement and power plants. Shares ended the session 0.67 per cent higher.  

Power Grid Corporation of India - Shares of Power Grid Corporation of India experienced strong buying pressure and ended the session 2.49 per cent higher, making them the top Sensex gainer. Shares have soared more than 8 per cent in the past month and are currently trading close to their 52-week high.
