Overnight Digest: Stocks to keep an eye on April 25!

Watch out for these large-cap stocks in Tuesday’s trading session!

Indian benchmark indices ended considerably higher thanks to a closing rally powered by banking and financial services sectors. The BSE Sensex surged 0.67 per cent to 60,056 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index gained 0.68 per cent to a level of 17,743. Stocks in the healthcare, power and utilities sectors, on the other hand, performed the worst.  

Watch out for these Large-Cap stocks in Tuesday’s trading session -  

Wipro LtdShares of the company soared after the announcement that the board will discuss a share buyback proposal on April 27. Shares of Wipro Ltd ended the session 2.69 per cent higher, making them the top Sensex gainer.  

ICICI Bank - Being one of the Top Gainers of the session, shares of ICICI Bank surged more than 2 per cent, thanks to a robust quarter performance. The bank recorded a 30 per cent growth in profit after tax to Rs 9,122 crore.  

HDFC Life Insurance Company - Shares of the insurance company climbed more than 6 per cent today, after it was announced that the RBI has given HDFC Bank or HDFC Ltd permission to raise their shareholding of HDFC Life Insurance Company to more than 50 per cent.
