Overnight Digest: Stocks to keep an eye on April 21!

Watch out for these large-cap stocks in Friday’s trading session!

Indian benchmark indices swung between modest gains and losses amid the mixed investor sentiments in global markets. BSE Healthcare was the worst performing sector whereas utilities, power and telecommunications stocks attempted to lift the markets. The BSE Sensex advanced 0.11 per cent to 59,632 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index edged up by 0.03 per cent to a level of 17,624.

Watch out for these Large-Cap stocks in Friday’s trading session -

Tata Motors - The company announced an ambitious goal of growing its market share for electric vehicles. Jaguar Land Rover, a subsidiary of Tata Motors, will invest 15 billion pounds in the EV market over the next five years. Shares ended the session 1.67 per cent higher, making them the top Sensex gainer.

Ultratech Cement - With the successful commissioning of its 2.2 mtpa brownfield extension, the company increased the capacity of its grinding mill in Patliputra, Bihar, to 4.7 mtpa. This additional capacity will assist the company in meeting the rapidly growing cement demand in the east.

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company - In an otherwise lackluster market, shares of the insurance company experienced considerable buying pressure and surged more than 2 per cent. Shares have soared around 10 per cent in the last month as a result of a strong rally.
