Overnight Digest: Keep these stocks on your radar for January 27

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices made a smart recovery and ended positively in a highly volatile session.

Except IT, all other sectoral indices ended in the green with PSU bank, power, auto and bank rising 2-4 per cent.

In the broader markets, BSE midcap and smallcap indices gained 0.8-1 per cent.

Keep a watch on these stocks for Thursday's trading session:

Pidilite Industries - The leading Indian adhesives manufacturing company announced its quarterly results for Q3FY22. On a YoY basis, net profit was down 19.5 per cent at Rs 359.2 crore against Rs 446.4 crore. Revenue was up 24 per cent at Rs 2,850.7 crore against Rs 2,299 crore. Meanwhile, EBITDA slipped 14.3 per cent at Rs 549.1 crore against Rs 640.8 crore on a YoY basis. EBITDA margin stood at 19.3 per cent against 27.9 per cent in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The share dropped in the last hour of the trading session on Tuesday and ended 1.79 per cent lower.

Vodafone Idea - The company's shares rose over 5 per cent in Tuesday's trading session to Rs 11.50 after its chief Ravinder Takkar said it may raise mobile services rates in 2022 as well, but will largely depend on the market reaction to the previous tariff hike. Despite the previous tariff hike in November, the company's average revenue per user (ARPU) lowered by almost 5 per cent on a YoY basis whereas rose 5 per cent on a QoQ basis to Rs 115 for Q3FY22.

Bharati Airtel - Shares of this telecom company advanced 4 per cent higher to Rs 717.50 on the BSE in Tuesday’s otherwise volatile market after it announced a plan to raise funds via preferential issue. The company informed that its board will meet on January 28, to consider raising funds via a preferential share issue to investors other than its promoter group. The stock of Bharti Airtel is seen shining in the market recently, gaining 5 per cent in the last one month compared to a marginal 0.16 per cent rise on the S&P BSE Sensex.
