Overnight Digest: Keep a watch on these stocks for October 1
The benchmark indices have ended the trading session in red amid the F&O expiry. Sensex ended at 59126.36 levels and Nifty settled at 17618.20 levels.
On the sectoral front, buying was seen in the realty, pharma, power and PSU banking stocks, while selling was seen in the auto, bank, IT, and metal. In the broader market, the BSE Smallcap index and BSE Midcap index ended 0.56 per cent and 0.33 per cent higher, respectively.
