Orient Cement, Infibeam surge up 11 per cent

Orient Cement, Infibeam surge up 11 per cent

Stocks of Orient Cement, Infibeam Avenue and Jubilant were up more than 10 per cent on Monday and ranked among the top gainer on BSE exchange. These stocks enjoyed the northwards movement of benchmark indices which were up more than a per cent through the trading sessions.

 

The benchmark indices BSE Sensex and Nifty were up 1.04 per cent and 1.28 per cent, respectively and ended the day at 37,054.10, up by 382.67 and at 11,176.30, up by 140.90 points, respectively.

 

Sectorially, Nifty Metal, Nifty Auto, Nifty Pharma and Nifty Bank were up 2.85, 2.26, 1.52 per cent and 0.74 per cent, respectively, while Nifty IT was the only index in the red zone.

 

On Monday, the stock of Orient Cement surged up by 11.42 per cent and closed at Rs. 88.75 per share, up by Rs. 9.10. Infibeam Avenues was at Rs. 43.90 per share, up by 11.42 per cent, Jubilant Life Sciences was at Rs. 845.50 per share, up by 10.02 per cent, while Tata Steel and Avanti were up 9.8 per cent each. Among the losers on BSE were RCom, Birla Corporation, DHFL, Linde, VST Industries.
