Odisha government appoints MSTC for scrap and sale services
Bengal-based, PSU, MSTC reported that Odisha state government appointed it for services and works related to different products of the company.
State government of Odisha appointed MSTC (formerly known as Metal Scrap Trade Corporation) for the sale of scrap, unserviceable material including e-waste, ferrous and non-ferrous, plant and machinery, condemned vehicles and any other item for disposal through forward-auction on MSTC e-commerce platform.
The company also will sell a product like ore and mineral, forest produce, agricultural produce etc. through MSTC E-commerce platform and purchase of common use goods and services which are not available on GeM portal as may be required by the buyer departments/PSU through MSTC- E-procurement platform.
MSTC is a miniratna Category-I PSU which is engaged of e-commerce activities and disposal of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap surplus stores of mineral, agricultural and forest produces.
The stock touched its intraday high of Rs. 90 per share. The stock closed at per share price of Rs. 86.35 with gains of 0.12 per cent on BSE.
