NCC wins order worth Rs. 848 crore
NCC Limited informed the exchanges on Tuesday that it has bagged a new order worth Rs. 848 crore in the month of September 2019. The order pertains to Building Division and is received from a State Government agency and does not include any internal orders.
Earlier in the month of July, it had won two new orders worth Rs. 503.80. Out of these orders, one order of Rs. 201.79 crore pertains to Railway Division and second order of Rs. 302.01 crore pertains to Building Division.
The company’s order book has been growing strong annually. In FY16, the order book stood at Rs. 17,655 crore, which grew by Rs. 41,197 crore by end of FY19. In FY19, the order book grew by 26.6 per cent YoY. The growth was mainly driven by Roads Division, Water Division, Buildings Division & Mining Division.
NCC Limited belongs to the infrastructure industry and is engaged in the construction of industrial and commercial buildings, roads, bridges and flyovers, water supply and environment projects, power transmission lines, irrigation and real estate development.
On Tuesday, stock of NCC opened at Rs. 55.90. In the early morning trading session, it climbed up by 1.9 per cent to Rs. 56.50 and later dipped by 4.2 per cent to Rs. 53.05 from previous close of Rs. 55.10.
