Multibaggers of 2022: These pharmaceutical stocks more than doubled the wealth of investors! Do you own them?

After a prolonged correction, the index underwent another surge in recent times as healthcare stocks gained momentum due to the deteriorating Covid scenario.

Pharmaceutical and healthcare stocks had the strongest rally during Covid period, with the sectoral index BSE Healthcare skyrocketing over 125 per cent in just 15-16 months. A meeting on the Covid situation was conducted by the Union Health Ministry in response to reports of an increase in Covid cases in China, Japan, the United States of America and Brazil. Morepen Laboratories, Nectar Lifesciences and Syncom Formulations (India) Ltd were a few of the stocks that experienced consecutive gains.
