Hyderabad-based alloy manufacturer Mishra Dhatu Nigam informed in a press release about its contribution in Chandrayaan-2 mission with the supply of Ultra High Strength Steel (UHSS) and titanium alloys, after market hours on Tuesday.

The company has developed and supplied materials for Cryogenic Engine (CUS) of GSLV Mark 3. It also further supplied specific purpose stainless steel, precipitation hardened steels and titanium alloys to Chandrayaan2.

The company’s inhouse unique capabilities and cost-effective facilities with a reliable track record for the supply of critical materials for strategic missions have helped in bonding a strong partnership with ISRO. It takes pride in the successful launch of the Chandrayan2. The company is also gearing up to meet the requirements of ambitious Gaganyaan MissionHuman in Space Program (HSP) of the Department of Space (ISRO).
