Maruti Suzuki launches revamped WagonR

Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest passenger vehicle manufacturer, has opened bookings for the all-new version of WagonR. 
  
In a press release, the company informed that the all-new WagonR 3rd generation will come with the rebuilt body, more space, dynamic interiors along with best-in-class cabin plus boot space. Bookings for the new version started on Monday. The car has a wide reach with 2.2 million customers. WagonR was launched in 1999 and nearly about 24 per cent of its customers prefer to buy the same car again. 
  
The new WagonR not only embodies strong looks but is also stronger inside out. It is powered by the advanced K-series engine offering high fuel efficiency. It also comes with a new 1.2 L engine option that delivers powerful. Customers will also have the choice of 1.0 L engine. For next-gen customers, for the first time, Maruti Suzuki is going to offer the most innovative SmartPlay Studio infotainment experience in the new WagonR. Customers can book the new WagonR for an initial payment of Rs. 11,000. 
  

On Monday, January 14, 2019, at 3.00 pm, the stock was trading at per share price of Rs. 7,370 on BSE. The index was trading at 35,827, down by 182 points.
