Markets Miss the Spirit of Christmas

If you are an avid cricket follower, you must have seen the Gabba Test Match between Australia and South Africa. The test match ended inside two days and to everyone’s surprise, no batsman made a century. The pitch had everything to offer that a bowler would desire such as excessive seam movement and extra bounce and on such a surface the batsman needed luck to make runs instead of skills. This scenario could be compared to the one on D-Street since everyone is complaining about the movement of the market where the swings have been sharp in the last five trading sessions and it was the lucky one who made the money rather than the skilled one as the latter would have preferred to be on the sidelines.
