Market Movers: These stocks emerge as the days biggest gainers despite loss in sectoral indices

Shilpa Medicare, Hikal and Tanla Platforms rally in today’s session.

Amid volatility, bearish sentiment dragged the markets with IT, FMCG, Utilities and being among the Top Losers while Banking and Financial sectors witnessed positive action.

At the closing bell on May 24, the Sensex closed with a loss of 0.4 per cent or 236 points to close at 54,052.61, while the Nifty index lost 0.6 per cent or 90 points at 16,125.15. 

 Shilpa Medicare, Hikal and Tanla Platforms witnessed positive action in today’s session.  

Shilpa Medicare India zoomed 10.47 per cent in today’s session on the back of a strong set of numbers for Q4. PAT in Q4 jumped by 283.7 per cent to Rs 30.55 crore from Rs 7.96 crore on YoY basis. Net revenue for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, stood at Rs 340.60 crore which was up by 63.73 per cent on a YoY basis. The shares of API manufacturer hit intraday high and low at Rs 470 and Rs 435.25, respectively and closed at Rs 453.25. 

Hikal Ltd witnessed a rally of 6.69 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 391.75. After yesterday’s selloff of 3.91 per cent on account of missing the market expectation, the shares witnessed fresh buying at lower levels in today’s session. Net revenue for the quarter ended March 31, 2022, stood at Rs 506.62 crore which was up by 9.66 per cent YoY. PAT in Q4 stood at Rs 45.20 crore from Rs 40.28 crore on a YoY basis. 

Tanla Platforms witnessed a gain of 6.69 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 1298.20. The stock logged it's intraday high and low in today’s session at Rs 1309 and Rs 1215.20, respectively. The company is engaged in providing integrated telecom infrastructure solutions and products.
