L&T Hydrocarbon Engg wins mega project in Saudi Arabia

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering (LTHE) was awarded yet another mega project in the Marjan Field by Saudi Aramco. This award is received by the consortium of LTHE with EMAS AMC, which is a subsea 7 company.

LTHE has consistently demonstrated superior project performance and excellent execution capabilities. One such example is the execution of the Hasbah Gas Increment Project. Several other projects like Marjan, Safaniya, Zulf and Berri in Saudi Arabia were executed through LTHE’s fabrication facilities in the Middle East and India.

The scope of this project comprises 4 tie-in platforms, 1 tie platform module, 9 production deck modules (wellhead decks), 217 km of subsea pipelines across 25 segments and 145 km of subsea cables across 16 segments. Furthermore, it also includes the replacement of existing control gears at eight of the existing Saudi Arabia Offshore platforms as well as a tie-in to existing systems.

On Thursday, the shares of L&T opened at Rs. 1,450.00, and hit a high and low of Rs. 1,454.95 and Rs. 1,440.15, respectively. At 12:10 pm, the stock was trading at Rs. 1,442.50, down 0.88 per cent.
