L&T construction wins order worth Rs. 2,357 crore

Larsen & Toubro Limited's construction arm won a new order in Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh in the water and effluents treatment segment.

 

The first order is from Amravati Capital City, Andhra Pradesh. The order is for water and effluent treatment and transportation infrastructure segment which will carry out the work of investigation, design and construction of roads, bridges, storm water drains, culverts, water supply systems, sewerage systems, STP, utility ducts for power and ICT, reuse waterlines and avenue plantation, compatible with trunk infrastructure layouts for land pooling schemes for the villages of Kurugalla, Nidamarru in Zone 12A area at Amravati Capital City, Andhra Pradesh, informed the company in filing to the bourses. The order value is Rs. 1,281 crore.

 

The second order is from Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam Maryadit (MPJNM) for execution of multi village rural water supply schemes in Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Seoni and Damoh districts of Madhya Pradesh. The project involves automation including measurement of input and output water quantity and quality at each level through SCADA and other instrumentation works aimed at maintaining unaccounted-for-water (UFW) within desired levels. This order is worth Rs. 1,076 crore.

 

At 10.43 am, the stock traded at per share price of Rs. 1425.80, higher by 0.23 per cent on BSE. While the benchmark index Sensex showed a gain of 287.91 points at 35,937.85 on Thursday.
