Libas Consumer Products ties knot with Matrimony.com
The NSE-listed company, Libas Consumer Products, engaged in contemporary & ethnic men’s & women’s wear, has currently entered into an arrangement with Matrimony.com for the promotion of Libas Fashion.
The company’s original business of fashion apparels & accessories has seen a steady performance for over two decades in the Indian market. Libas' fashion vertical has successfully serviced contemporary ethnic men’s and women’s occasional as well as casual wear needs. In addition, it has a division catering to the institutional market, which is engaged in promoting and manufacturing uniforms and workwear for customers in India & abroad. Besides, the company is also planning to open 100 franchise stores in the next three years.
Libas Gangji brand has been promoted and distributed through both offline channels namely, company-owned retail outlets, shop in shop counters, franchise stores, and online sales via its e-commerce website. The company has four own stores in three cities in India along with one franchise store in Dubai with a total retail space of 10,400 square feet.
Meanwhile, the company’s board of directors is likely to meet to take a decision on the acquisition of a 100 per cent stake in Golden Bricks Infrastructure.
Libas Consumer Products recently entered the FMCG segment whereby, it has ventured into importing, manufacturing & packaging rock salt under the brand name, Gangji Salt. The current factory is located at Bhiwandi (Maharashtra) while a new plant is going to be set up at Bharuch (Gujarat). The company is also installing the first automated rock salt manufacturing mini plant with a capacity to ready 1,500 tonnes of rock salt.
