KEC Intl reports flat PAT for Q3FY19

KEC International reported its results for the quarter ended December 31, 2018 on Tuesday.


The company's consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 2,646.63 crore as against Rs. 2404.75 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, registering 10.1 per cent YoY increase.

 

The EBITDA for the quarter rose by 15.2 per cent YoY to Rs. 281.37 crore as against Rs. 244.18 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, with a corresponding margin expansion of 48 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 10.6 per cent.

 

The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 112.37 crore as against Rs. 111.77 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, YoY increase of 0.5 per cent. PAT stood flat due to higher finance costs.

 

During the quarter, the company secured new orders of Rs. 2,105 crore across various businesses. The break-up of new orders across its four segments includes; Transmission & Distribution – Rs. 1,584 crore, Railways – Rs. 261 crore, Civil – Rs. 116 crore and Cables – Rs. 144 crore.

 

On Monday, the stock of KEC International closed at Rs. 241 per share. On Tuesday, it opened at Rs. 242.20 and made intra-day high of Rs. 242.30 and intra-day low of Rs. 233.40 and got closed at Rs. 237 per share.
