KEC International bags multiple orders worth Rs 1,255 crore
KEC International Limited has bagged new orders worth Rs 1,255 crore, across various businesses. KEC International, which is a part of the RPG Group, has a presence in the verticals of power transmission and distribution, railways, civil, solar, smart infrastructure and cables.
Under Transmission and Distribution (T&D) segment, it has secured orders worth Rs 510 crore for T&D projects in Africa, Middle East and America. The orders in T&D, especially in the Middle East region, have enabled the company to strengthen its presence in the international markets.
Its railway segment secured orders worth Rs 449 crore for Overhead Electrification (OHE) work and associated civil work in India.
While civil and cables’ segment bagged orders worth Rs 161 crore and Rs 135 crore, respectively. The civil orders are for residential and industrial projects in India while, the cables’ order are for various types of cables and cabling projects.
The company’s order book as on September 30, 2019 stood at Rs 18,085 crore consisting domestic - 52 per cent and international - 46 per cent. This has translated book to bill ratio of 1.6x.
On Thursday, the stock of KEC International opened at Rs 332.05. In the early morning session, it made an intra-day high of Rs 336.55 and later dipped, making an intra-day low of Rs 326.15 on BSE.
