Kamlesh Kamtekar Shows Investors the Investment Path for 2025! Will Auto Outpace IT?

If a graphic designer becomes an auto driver, no work is small, as both demand ingenuity and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.

Kamlesh Kamtekar, a former Assistant Creative Manager with 14 years of experience in Graphic Designing, has been struggling to find employment since losing his job five months ago due to company cost-cutting.

Despite extensive efforts, including leveraging his network and applying through LinkedIn, Kamlesh Kamtekar has faced numerous rejections. Common feedback included budget constraints and a lack of suitable roles matching his experience. Frustrated by these obstacles, Kamtekar began to question the value of continuing his job search.

"Why not start my own business and earn money at the same low salary instead of working somewhere else?" he pondered.

Recognising the limitations of his current field, Kamlesh Kamtekar decided to venture outside of graphic design. He ultimately made the difficult decision to "sacrifice his design skills and drive an auto-rickshaw," prioritising self-employment and financial independence over a traditional career path.

Kamlesh Kamtekar, a graphic designer with 14 years of experience, recently transitioned his career. Following a layoff due to company-wide cost-cutting measures, he faced challenges securing a new role within the IT sector. Despite his skills and efforts, the prolonged job search and uncertainty within the industry led him to pursue an alternative path: becoming an auto-rickshaw driver.

This shift highlights several key trends. The IT sector is experiencing increasing volatility, with layoffs and the rise of AI impacting job security. Conversely, the transportation sector, particularly the auto-rickshaw segment, presents a viable alternative in India's growing urban landscape. With a rising population and demand for affordable mobility, this sector offers potential for entrepreneurship. While Kamtekar's experience is individual, it underscores the need for diversified career paths and investment strategies. The IT sector, while significant, may not always offer guaranteed stability. Exploring emerging sectors, such as transportation, with high growth potential, can likely be an alternative avenue for both employment and investment.

If a graphic designer becomes an auto driver, no work is small, as both demand ingenuity and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
