Kalpataru Power zooms 4 per cent on new order
Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) gained nearly 4 per cent in BSE on Monday after receiving new orders for Transmission & Distribution business.
In a press release, the company informed the exchanges that Kalpataru Power Transmission and its international subsidiary have secured new orders amounting to Rs. 775 crores from government and private clients.
Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & CEO, KPTL said “We are very happy with the new order wins in our T&D business. These new orders will help us to strengthen our T&D order book particularly in India and Bangladesh.”
The consolidated order book as on June 30, 2019 stood at Rs. 24,918 crores and order inflows YTD FY20 came in at Rs. 4,300 crores. Also, the company has L1 position of around Rs. 2000 crore majorly in Transmission & Distribution business.
KPTL is one of the largest and fastest growing specialized EPC companies in India engaged in power transmission & distribution, oil & gas pipeline, railways, infrastructure development, civil contracting and warehousing & logistics business.
On Monday, the stock opened at Rs. 479.90 and made an intraday high and low of Rs. 493.90 and Rs. 465.10, respectively on the BSE. The stock finally settled the day at Rs. 488.05 on the BSE.
