Inox Wind jumps 5 per cent on securing 250 MW contract

Inox Wind today informed the bourses that the company has signed definitive agreements with Continuum Power Trading (TN) Private Limited. Continuum Power Trading (TN) Private Limited is a part of Continuum Wind Energy group.

Under this agreement, Inox Wind has to supply, erect and commission 250 MW of wind power projects (in two phases of 126 MW and 124 MW).

Inox Wind has started execution of the first phase of the project comprising of 126 MW, which is scheduled to be commissioned by Q3FY21 at Dayapar, in Bhuj district (Gujarat) on a turnkey basis.

The company’s order book as on December, 2019 stood at Rs 1,470.7 MW which will translate into revenues of ~Rs 8,400 crore over the next ~ 24 months.

Inox Wind offer its clients total wind power solutions including wind resource assessment, acquiring land, developing the entire site infrastructure, building the power evacuation system, supplying the WTGs, erection and commissioning services, long-term operations and maintenance services as well as post-commissioning support.

Today, the stock opened at Rs 25.30, up by five per cent and locked in the upper circuit on BSE.
