INOX Wind gets time extension for Wind Power Projects in Gujarat

INOX Wind has been granted time extension by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) on the scheduled date for commissioning of 5*50 MW ISTS connected wind power projects in Gujarat (SECI Tranche I) due to the delay in operationalization of long-term access by the Central Transmission Utility (CTU).

Out of the total 250 MW of SECI 1 at Dayapar, Gujarat, the company had successfully commissioned 200 MW in June and July, 2019. Further, SECI has also granted permission to the company to commission the balance 50 MW Project, which is already under execution.

Inox Wind's order book stood at Rs. 1,268.7 MW as on September 30, 2019, which, in terms of revenue, will translate into ~Rs.7,200 crores over the next ~ 18 months. The company offers end-to-end wind power solutions, including wind resource assessment, acquiring land, developing the entire site infrastructure, building the power evacuation system, supplying the WTGs, erection and commissioning services, long-term operations and maintenance services, and post-commissioning support, to its clients.

Today, the stock opened at Rs. 33.90, jumped nearly 9 per cent, and made an intraday high of Rs. 34.85 on the BSE.
