Infosys & IBM collaborate to boost digital transformation
Information technology consulting company, Infosys Limited and International Business Machines (IBM) Corporation have collaborated for helping enterprises in boosting their digital transformation journey with the help of IBM cloud.
In an exchange filing released on Monday after market hours, Infosys announced this global alliance with IBM. The company informed through the statement released that they have come together and collaborated to help financial, insurance and healthcare enterprises to transform and modernise their workload by using secured and innovative IBM cloud.
As a part of this collaboration, Infosys would also help its clients in offering access to open source offerings as a part of Red Hat portfolio through IBM cloud.
With this, Infosys becomes the first Global System Integrator (GSI) to join the new IBM Public Cloud Ecosystem to help clients via service providers. Infosys employees working on this cloud platform will participate in a special training and thereby, become certified on IBM public cloud.
At 11.17 am on Tuesday, the stock of Infosys Ltd is trading at Rs 747.00, up by 0.36 per cent against its previous close of Rs 744.35 on BSE.
