Hexaware launches Amaze-an automated cloud replatforming solution
Hexaware Technologies has announced the launch of ‘Amaze for Applications’, which is a robust, automated, mass migration replatforming solution for legacy applications to shift to the cloud. This solution is expected to enable companies to save 60 per cent of their implementation costs and 75 per cent in cloud migration time while, simultaneously increasing elasticity, productivity and efficiency.
Amaze is created in such a way that it can automatically analyse applications and then replatform them based on their criticality and further, move them to any public cloud platform. Its automation capabilities have been specifically designed to efficiently move applications built on Java and .NET to the cloud. Amaze is expected to benefit organisations across industries, looking to leverage cloud elasticity and agility. The solution has been equipped with the ability to not only automatically analyse and review but also to refactor the source code. Detailing about the process, based on an initial analysis report, an appropriate application replatform option is identified. It then converts the existing architecture into micro services architecture by refactoring the code in an automated manner and also by integrating state of the art, new age cloud-based design patterns, wherever required. The migrating of a single application takes around more than six months and is also an expensive and risky process with no working guarantees whereas, the use of Amaze for Applications’ automated refactoring, brings down the time-taken to just four to six weeks.
On Friday, the stock of the company closed at Rs 236.60, down by 1.17 per cent or Rs 2.80 per share. The 52-week high is Rs 439 and 52-week low is Rs 201.70 on BSE.
