Gayatri Projects stock rises 26 per cent in 5 days
During Wednesday’s trading session, the stock of Gayatri Projects jumped by more than 4 per cent and made an intraday high of 30.35. Shares of Gayatri Projects have gained by 26 per cent in the last five trading days.
The company reported a net profit of Rs 33 crore in Q2FY21, that declined by 59 per cent YoY, as compared to Q2FY20, when it reported a profit of Rs 81 crore. The company reported a revenue of Rs 7982 crore, for Q2FY21 an increase of 14 per cent, as compared to the revenue of Rs 6977 crore reported for Q2FY20.
The stock of Gayatri Projects has recovered by 291.61 per cent from its sharp decline in April 2020. In the last sixteen days, the company has gained nearly 66 per cent.
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a price-to-book ratio of 0.58.
The stock has a 52-week high and a 52-week low of Rs 91.20 per share and Rs 7.75 per share, respectively.
Gayatri Projects Ltd. is the flagship company of the Gayatri Group that has interests in infrastructure, power, hospitality, real estate and industry. It has an annual turnover of Rs 3,463 crores, net worth of Rs 1,329.63 crores and total assets of Rs 5,864 crore on a Standalone basis in FY19.
On Wednesday, shares of the company locked in at it upper circuit at Rs 30.35 per share, up by 4.84 per cent or Rs 1.40 per share on BSE.
