Force Motors up after posting strong sales in January
The shares of Force Motors were trading in the green on Wednesday after the company announced robust sales number for January 2020.
The total production rose by 10.13 per cent to 2,620 units in January 2020 from 2,379 units in December 2019. On a YoY comparison, the total production jumped by an impressive 52.15 per cent from 1,722 units in January 2019. The total domestic sales fell by 6.67 per cent to 2,349 units in January 2020 from 2,517 units in December 2019. On a YoY basis, the domestic sales in January 2020 grew by 16.69 per cent from 2,013 units in January 2019.
The total exports of the company increased in January 2020 by 26.96 per cent to 292 units in January 2020 from 230 units in December 2019. On a YoY basis, the company’s exports saw impressive growth of around 495 per cent from 49 units in January 2019.
Force Motors Limited is a company engaged in the manufacturing of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV), utility vehicles and engines. Its product range includes Small Commercial Vehicles (SCV), Multi-Utility Vehicles (MUV), Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV), Sports Utility Vehicles (SUV) and agricultural tractors.
At 11.30 am on Wednesday, the stock is trading at Rs 1,357.20, up by 2.17 per cent or Rs 28.90 per share. The 52-week high is recorded at Rs 1,869 and the 52-week low is Rs 951 on BSE.
