Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened the first trading session of the week on a flat note, moving between gains & losses. At 10.58 am, Sensex was seen trading at 61,343.64 levels, up by 0.20 per cent while Nifty inched higher by 0.24 per cent to be at 18,298.95 levels.
Maruti, Wipro, and State Bank of India emerged as the top three gainers today, which climbed 2.58 per cent, 1.79 per cent & 1.77 per cent, respectively.
