Finolex Cables launches Industrial Switchgears

Finolex Cables announced that it had entered into the MCCB product category in a bid to strengthen its presence in the domestic and industrial switchgear market.

The MCCB launch is expected to further strengthen the switchgear basket of the company and will give Finolex Cables the access to the enormous industrial switchgear market to serve its retail and panel builder clients. The switch gears will be available in differential ratings, ranging from 63 to 800 amps in various pole configurations.

Speaking on the occasion, Deepak K. Chhabria, Executive Chairman of Finolex Cables Ltd, stated that the addition of MCCB's to the product portfolio was the latest step in delivering quality products and the company would continue to meet the requirements of its wide range of customers.

Finolex Cables is engaged in the manufacturing lighting products, electrical accessories, switchgear, fans and water heaters.  The company has manufacturing facilities at Pimpri and Urse in Pune as well as at Goa & Uttarakhand.

On Friday, the stock closed at Rs 549, up by 0.23 per cent or Rs 1.25 per share. The 52-week high is recorded at Rs 635 and the 52-week low is recorded at Rs 440.
