Eastern Treads Ltd partially resumes its operations
As the ongoing nationwide lockdown is eventually being eased in several parts of the country, more and more companies have started to resume its operations. Eastern Treads too announced today about its partial resumption of operations.
The company informed that its manufacturing plants in Oonnukal and Vannappuram (Kerala) have started day-shift basis as per the norms issued by the government. Offices in other areas have also begun operations with limited staff and branch offices too started retailing, except in the containment zone.
Not to forget that as per the directives issued by Government of India to curb the spread of Coronavirus, the companies had temporarily suspended its offices and operating units since March 25, 2020.
Eastern Treads Limited is an Indian conglomerate holding company. It is managed by Navas Meeran and Kerala State Industrial Corporation Limited (KSIDC). The latter holds 11 per cent of its equity shares. It has launched a recyclable, eco-friendly product namely, Diamond Quality Tyres. It is bound to get wider acceptance, given many countries follow ‘go green’ policy, pursued by European Union.
The stock of Eastern Tread Ltd closed at Rs 23.30. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 44.95 and 52-week low of Rs 15.95.
