Dilip Buildcon gains on winning metro project in MP

Dilip Buildcon has emerged as the L-1 bidder for the Indore metro project. Post the news, the company's stock rose by over 2 per cent intra-day on Friday. 

The company will be engaged in building a stretch of  5.3 km metro rail in Indore. The bid is to build an elevated viaduct between the ISBT flyover and Mumtaj Bag Colony. The company offered to do the same for Rs 229 crore. The company has been granted to complete the work in 27 months.  Recently, Dilip Buildcon also emerged as the lowest bidder for the Bhopal metro project. 

Dilip Buildcon Limited is in the business of infrastructure facilities on engineering procurement and construction (EPC) basis. The company undertakes contracts from various governments and other parties. It operates through construction and engineering contracts segment. 

On Friday the stock of the company opened at Rs. 742 against a close of Rs 737.35. Its intra-day high was at Rs 759 and intra-day low was at Rs. 742 on the BSE. Its 52-week high was at Rs. 1,247 and 52-week low was at Rs 561 per share on the BSE. 

At 10:24 a.m, the stock of Dilip Buildcon was trading at Rs 749, up by 1.65 per cent.
