Days Movers: These stocks were the top gainers in BSE Group A

Know the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Wednesday, the frontline index Sensex gained 0.17 per cent or 107.73 points and closed at 61,980.72.

Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd, Hindustan Construction Co Ltd and Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd witnessed positive action in today’s session.  

Shares of Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd (HUDCO) zoomed 13.72 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 47.25. In the intraday trades, the shares of HUDCO logged new highs of Rs 48.90 and had lows of Rs 41.70. The company has announced its Quarterly Results for Q2FY23 and has reported sales of Rs 1738.61 crore rising 0.1 per cent compared to Rs 1736.91 crore in the previous year’s same quarter. Net profit was up by 7 per cent to Rs 396.31 crore from Rs 370.40 crore on a YoY basis.

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was Hindustan Construction Co Ltd gaining 9.35 per cent in today’s session to close at Rs 15.55. The intraday high and low were Rs 16.20 and Rs 14.09, respectively. The company revealed its earnings call transcript for the quarter and a half year that ended on September 30, 2022.

Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd also rallied 9.25 per cent at Rs 322 over its previous close of Rs 294.75. The company touched a new 52-week high of Rs 326.60 with a low of Rs 291.05. The stock has rallied more than 14 per cent after the company reported a strong performance in the quarter that ended on September 2022.
