Days Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on November 23

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Wednesday, the frontline index Sensex finished higher by 0.15 per cent or 91.62 points and closed at 61,510.58. RHI Magnesita India Ltd, Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd, and NBCC (India) Ltd witnessed positive action in today’s session.    

Shares of RHI Magnesita India Ltd zoomed 13.07 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 796.10. In the intraday trades, the shares of this leading India-based supplier of high-grade refractory products, systems, and solutions logged touched new highs of Rs 835.40 and lows of 700.50, respectively. The company recently acquired DBRL’s (Dalmia Bharat Refractories Limited) refractory business for Rs 1,708 crore. 

Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd rallied 11.65 per cent in today’s session and close at Rs 103.65 and touched a new high of Rs 119.10. The intraday high and low were Rs 119.10 and Rs 103.65, respectively.  

NBCC (India) Ltd also rallied 10.48 per cent at Rs 41.65 over its previous close of Rs 37.70. The intraday high and low of NBCC (India) Ltd were Rs 41.95 and Rs 38.20, respectively. In its earnings call for Q2FY23, PK Gupta, chairman and managing director of NBCC India updated that the company has entered for the first time in smart-city projects, and secured a work of Rs 314 crore in Puducherry Smart City. Another work of Aligarh smart-city has been awarded at a cost of Rs 50 crore.
