Cyient strengthens its digital solutions suite via proposed acquisition of WorkForce Delta

The acquisition will improve Cyient's digital transformation capabilities & offerings particularly in the telecom and utility industries.

Cyient recently announced that it will strengthen IntelliCyient - its digital solutions suite, through the proposed acquisition of WorkForce Delta, which is a leading consulting firm in the mobile workforce management.  

The acquisition will improve Cyient's digital transformation capabilities & offerings particularly in the telecom and utility industries. It is expected to further bolster IntelliCyient portfolio with strong front-end consulting capabilities for digital mobile workforce management solutions. 

There has been burgeoning demand for comprehensive field force management solutions in the telecom and utility industries. Workforce Delta's expanding footprint is a distinct testament to its expertise and increasing market demand for streamlined mobile workforce management processes. Cyient plans to leverage Workforce Delta’s team of consultants to become an industry leader in this area across sectors in the future. 

Workforce Delta founded in 2015, primarily services utilities & telecommunication clients and consults for mobile workforce management as well as field service management. Its expertise lies in demand forecasting, capacity planning, workforce roistering, field service scheduling, enterprise mobility, and performance analytics. This acquisition will enable Cyient to offer complete lifecycle solutions from process consulting to solution implementation as well as managed support services. 

Cyient is engaged in providing global technology services & solutions specialising in geospatial, engineering design, analytics, network, and operations solutions. 

The share price of Cyient jumped 1.9 per cent during the early markets hours to touch a high Rs 1,000.05 on BSE.
