Buyers' top three picks for today: These Group A stocks saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 413.33 points. By 9.15 am, the index was trading at the level of 57,233.22, signifying a loss of 193.7 points or 0.34 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals got hammered by 0.20 per cent, power was trading flat whereas auto surged 0.3 per cent.

Meanwhile, Avanti Feeds, Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd, and Hatsun Agro Product emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. Barring Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd, the other two companies have not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in their share prices could be driven purely by market forces.

Avanti Feeds Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, surged 6.68 per cent to trade at Rs 500 apiece.

Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd, an S&P BSE Midcap company, rallied 5.72 per cent to trade at Rs 76.70 apiece. On Friday, the company informed the exchanges about withdrawal and affirmation of credit rating.

Hatsun Agro Product Ltd, another S&P BSE 500 company, climbed 4.95 per cent to trade at Rs 1,100 apiece.
