BSE Sensex soars to all-time highs: BSE Realty jumps 4.01 per cent; Sobha Ltd skyrockets 19.35 per cent

Markets cheered as S&P BSE Sensex index soared off the charts and hit an all-time high of 53,266.12. The index also posted a record closing high of 53,158.85, up by 0.48 per cent. Sobha Ltd and L&T Technology Services emerged as the top gainers of Group A, rising by colossal 19.35 per cent and 19.08 per cent, respectively.    

S&P BSE Realty index was the star of today’s show that jumped by a mega 4.01 per cent, outperforming the frontline indices after recording gains of 120.46 points. Sobha was the top gainer of the index, followed by Indiabulls Real Estate and Brigade Enterprises, which climbed 6.54 per cent and 5.92 per cent to close at Rs 140.85 and Rs 346.90, respectively.  

Prestige Estate Projects, Oberoi Realty and Sunteck Realty also ended in the green territory, gaining 5.89 per cent, 4.10 per cent, and 3.71 per cent, respectively.   

Godrej Properties, DLF, and Mahindra Lifespace Developers closed with gains of more than 3 per cent each.     

Phoenix Mills ended the session in the bearish red territory, losing 0.93 per cent to close at Rs 852.   

BSE Realty index recorded a 52-week high of Rs 3,136.51 during today's market hours. A conducive market environment and favourable change in consumer sentiment improve the future outlook of the sector.
